   Ok. I know, I'm a bad, bad blogger.
   
   I have a little peeve. Or maybe it is a big peeve. I've been borrowing my neighbor's clothes line to dry my family's clothes. Not only is it saving me money from running my dryer, it makes them smell great! Anyway here is the peeve. Yesterday afternoon when I was walking across the street with a load of wet clothes and both my kids, we saw our little neighbor boy (7 years old) and another boy from town (10 years) lighting fireworks...

4. Caribbean

   I finished part 2 of Caribbean Sunday night. This was a tough pice for me. I guess the repeats just get to me. I'm working on my first flower and I love the way it looks on black!! I should have the first flower done tonight and start working on another one. I'll post another pic then!

5. I have a finish!!

   I've been feeling a little burnt out on Chatelaine's while working on the same pattern piece on Caribbean. So I went back to a WIP from last year and finished it tonight! It is the 2008 freebie from EMS called the Rose Garden. Can you find the boo boo that had it left as a WIP for 4 months? I frogged the worst of it but part of the error would have meant frogging a huge part of this so I left it and fudged it.

7. Things that keep me from stitching...

   My dh and I are working on one of the bedrooms in our basement. We want to eventually have a spare bedroom that has a lock on the door to keep little fingers away from things they shouldn't be around. So, dh got drywall up Wednesday and today I've put the tape and the first coat of mud on the walls.

10. Hand Dyed fabric

    I've been attempting to hand dye my own fabric. I can't justify the expense of purchasing it so through some trial and error, this is what I've come up with.
